How beautiful is to watch the full moon! But we all have to wait a month to see it.
I’m tired, its 5.28am and I can’t sleep. I don’t know what to do about several things. So much planning! What and where to be next? I feel the anxiety. I’ve been in Auckland and the surroundings for quite some time now and I’ve been through a lot.
I’ve been beaten by 6 guys that seems didn’t like where I’m from. I’ve been asked to join some amazingly beautiful women, and some not so stunning. I met a woman, who treats me as her son, giving me advises and protecting me like a mother does. I’ve met some good friends who care for me. Found an awesome job, where I have fun all the time, basically they pay me for partying. I live with great girls, all with different backgrounds. Had some stormy weather days and great sunny ones. I’ve presence greatness in teams for the world rugby cup. Been with hundreds of thousands of people celebrating in the same streets. I helped out some people who really needed it. Founded a couple of investors to start a great business idea we think could do great here. But, still think I had enough and I want to continue my journey somewhere else!
Is that right?! Sometimes we try to move faster, or do some shortcuts to get where we want to be or do what we want. But those shortcuts never end well. Don’t know what it is. Some people call it karma, some people call it luck, could be our unconscious or God above. But the truth is, there are no shortcuts in life.
Life is difficult, cause it makes us sort through things we don’t enjoy. We all have different tasks to do according to what we want to achieve in the mid and long term. Those tasks, sometimes, becomes a pain in the back, witch we try to evade. A good friend of mine could just walk out of her marriage because she is not happy, I could fly away to another country because I’m tired of this one. But we both would be escaping. She could feel free again sooner and enjoying the blameless gentle touch of another guy. I could experience another culture and meet some new awesome people. But, something will be missing. Everything has a closure, everything takes time to be solved. But we are now used to instant things; instant and fast food, instant mailing, instant everything, even instant relationships. If something doesn’t go according to what we want or expected, we just go with the next.
We have to learn to be patient. At least I do! And take my time into things. Life always manages to pull us back into the same spot we where when we took the shortcut. It’s all in us. It’s her who’s going to suffer the consequences of living her kids and her husband because of immediate freedom. It’s me who’s going to suffer the consequences of not achieving all the goals I set to do here before I move on to somewhere else in the world.
How beautiful is to watch the full moon! But we all have to wait a whole month to see it.
Don’t try to bend the processes. Don’t cheat on yourself. The moon is not going away, you’ll always be able to see her fully.
PS. Don’t take to long either, cause you are going to miss it! That’s the catch!
