Our Pick on Restaurants, Bars & Lounges
Pasteur, Vietnamese Restaurant
Located on #17, Street 51 near the Independence Monument, Pasteur Restaurant showcases a selection of traditional
Vietnamese dishes while capturing the authentic flavors of Vietnam in a clean, and relaxing environment.
The owner, Evelyne, has spent many years in France prior to returning to Cambodia. She speaks many languages, and welcomes guests from all origins, and background. You will often find her personally greeting, and welcoming her guests, as quality of the food, and customer service are her top priorities. Here, you will find classic entrees such as beef vermicelli with egg rolls, and Vietnamese noodle soup, along with house specialties like the crispy Vietnamese crepe, the shrimp in tamarind soup, or the 5 stars house special.
Duplex Restobar & Lounge
Something great is happening on street 278. After the owner, Mr. Geert, stopped working around the world, he wanted to shake things up in Phnom Penh with a huge Belgium beer selection and Salsa evenings on Mondays and Wednesdays.
The place is creative; it's well located, with great service and innovative; probably unlike anything you've tasted or expect to taste in Phnom Penh, catering an awesome selection of western and Asian food.
We didn't think our evenings could get much better, and then this appears. The staff dedication and attention to detail are evident in each dish and dessert. You won't be disappointed.
Get hungry, and from the manu you must try the burger, get thirsty and pick some of the best Belgium beers, and most importantly, take on the dance floor when the night comes, and dance with the coolest people in town.
